About Diane

Diane is a registered Generalist Psychologist with Australia’s health governing body AHPRA, current member of the Australian Psychological Society APS, and a Clinical Psychology Registrar.

Diane has experience in private practice, not for profit organisations, government agencies, educational facilities, and psychiatric hospital settings.  She has worked extensively with adolescents and adults presenting with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, personality disorders, psychosis, complex trauma, developmental disorders, relationship difficulties, emotional instability, and suicidal and self- harming behaviours.

Diane’s therapeutic style is relaxed and engaging, which draws upon a client centred approach as a platform for the provision of evidence-based therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy (ST) and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).

How much does it cost?

Standard consultation fee        $130.00

Medicare Rebate:                       $ 84.80

Out of Pocket:                            $ 45.20

Payment is required at the end of each consultation via EFTPOS (credit/debit card) or cash.  If claiming the Medicare rebate, this will be completed at the time of payment via HICAPS incurring the difference amount only.

Medicare – Better Access Initiative

To claim a Medicare rebate for between 6 – 10 sessions with a Psychologist, a Mental Health Care plan completed by your General Practitioner is required.

Can I claim on my Health Fund?

Private Health Fund rebates may apply, however not in conjunction with the Medicare rebate.
