Since beginning her teaching journey in 2013, Kate has created classes that are known for being warm, inclusive, and community-focused. Her approach combines mindful movement, conscious breathing, and genuine connection, creating a space where students can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and enjoy the company of like-minded people.
With a balance of humour, kindness, and encouragement, Kate’s classes offer far more than physical exercise. They are an opportunity to breathe deeply, quiet the mind, build strength, and leave feeling refreshed, relaxed, and grounded.

Kate’s Approach to Yoga
Kate doesn’t teach one fixed style of yoga. Instead, each class is an intuitive blend of the many traditions she has studied and practiced throughout her own yoga journey.
Drawing inspiration from Hatha, Vinyasa, Iyengar, Yin, Restorative Yoga, Tantra, Buddhist philosophy, and particularly the wisdom of Non-Dual Shaivism, Kate encourages students to let go of the idea of “doing yoga perfectly.”
Her philosophy is simple:
Come exactly as you are.
There is no right or wrong, no need to prove yourself, and no expectation to perform. Yoga is an opportunity to become deeply present with yourself; to meet your body, breath, and mind with curiosity and compassion.
Kate offers different options and hands-on adjustments (where welcomed) so that everyone can practise safely and confidently, regardless of age, experience, or ability.
Her classes are intentionally slower-paced, allowing time to develop strength while creating space for mindfulness and meditation. By moving with awareness, students are invited to quiet the constant activity of the mind and reconnect with the present moment.
For Kate, yoga is about embracing both the yin and the yang, cultivating softness through gentle practices like Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Reiki, and Sound Healing, while also building resilience, strength, and vitality through more dynamic movement.
